Project overview
This Gothenburg project was about developing a custom concrete slab for a listed building.
The focus was exact matching of colour, texture and surface finish so the new slab blends naturally with the existing environment.

Starting point
The client needed a new slab that matched an older original slab, both visually and technically, in a sensitive heritage setting.
Solution
We produced samples in several rounds and adjusted mix design, pigment levels and surface treatment until we reached the right tone, texture and finish.
Materials and finish
With custom-cast slabs, small details matter: aggregate, pore structure, edge treatment and final surface finish. The goal was a slab that feels native next to the original.
Function and safety
Quality was secured through continuous checks against the reference slab, ensuring the final result both looks correct and performs over time in this environment.
Timeline
After a site visit and alignment on details, we plan the work so the process is clear and the steps are predictable for the customer.
Result
The result is a custom concrete slab that convincingly matches the original and meets the expectations of a listed-building project.
Location
Gothenburg.
